Zurich Financial Alliance – Switzerland provides account services to individuals, corporate entities, and institutional clients, subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements within the Swiss Confederation.

All applications are subject to internal review, compliance approval, and satisfaction of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations. The Bank reserves the right to request additional documentation or decline any application in accordance with regulatory requirements.

 

1. Personal Banking Accounts

The Bank offers personal banking solutions to eligible individual clients.

Documentation Requirements

Applicants are required to submit:

  • Valid passport
  • Swiss residence permit (where applicable)
  • Swiss National ID Card (for residents)
  • Proof of residential address
  • Source of funds declaration

Additional documentation may be requested based on customer profile and regulatory assessment.

Minimum Initial Deposit
Personal accounts are subject to a minimum initial funding requirement. Applicable minimum balance thresholds and account maintenance conditions will be communicated at the time of application and may vary depending on the selected account category.

 

2. Corporate Banking Accounts

Corporate accounts are available to Switzerland-licensed entities and approved foreign companies engaged in legitimate business activities.

  • Corporate Term Deposit
Documentation Requirements

Corporate applicants must provide:

  • Trade License or Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum and Articles of Association
  • Board Resolution authorizing account opening
  • Identification documents of shareholders, directors, and authorized signatories
  • Company profile and description of business activities
  • Source of funds documentation

Audited financial statements or additional supporting documents may be required where applicable.

Initial Deposit Requirement

Corporate accounts are subject to a minimum opening deposit requirement. The applicable amount is determined based on:

  • Nature of business activity;
  • Jurisdiction of incorporation;
  • Ownership structure;
  • Anticipated transaction profile;
  • Internal risk assessment outcome.

Minimum Initial Deposit
Corporate accounts are subject to a minimum initial funding requirement. Applicable minimum opening balance requirements will be communicated during the account approval process and may vary based on account type and risk classification.

The required funding must be received prior to activation of full transactional privileges.

3. Investment Banking Accounts

Investment-related accounts are available to institutional clients, foreign investment entities, holding companies, and structured finance vehicles, subject to enhanced due diligence procedures.

These accounts are intended exclusively for entities engaged in capital participation, structured investment transactions, cross-border finance arrangements, or joint venture activities.

Investment Premium Account

The Investment Premium Account is a specialized banking solution structured for foreign investment companies and corporate entities engaged in cross-border investment activity.

This account category is designed to support:

  • Foreign investment companies establishing a transactional presence in Switzerland;
  • Companies designated to receive investment capital from a Switzerland-based investment company;
  • Entities acting as beneficiaries of structured capital placements;
  • Companies receiving equity participation, debt finance, or private investment funding;
  • Joint venture (JV) entities requiring segregated capital administration accounts;
  • Special purpose vehicles (SPVs) formed for structured investment transactions.

The Investment Premium Account facilitates the receipt, holding, and controlled deployment of investment-related funds in accordance with declared business activities and approved transaction parameters.

All applications under this category are subject to enhanced compliance review and internal approval.

Eligibility

This account may be considered for:

  • Foreign incorporated investment companies;
  • Holding companies established for capital participation purposes;
  • Companies receiving investment capital or structured finance from an investment entity based in Switzerland;
  • Entities established to execute joint venture arrangements;
  • Structured finance or project-specific vehicles.

Approval is subject to internal risk assessment and regulatory compliance verification.

 

Documentation Requirements

Applicants must provide:

  • Certificate of Incorporation and constitutional documents;
  • Board Resolution authorizing account opening;
  • Identification documents of shareholders, directors, and ultimate beneficial owners;
  • Detailed business profile outlining the investment purpose;
  • Investment agreement, funding term sheet, financing agreement, or JV documentation (where applicable);
  • Source of funds and capital declaration.

The Bank reserves the right to request additional documentation necessary to verify the legitimacy and structure of the investment transaction.

Account Establishment & Initial Capital Requirement

Investment Premium Accounts are subject to:

  • An applicable Account Establishment Fee, payable upon approval; and
  • A mandatory Initial Capital Placement Requirement of USD 50,000 – USD 100,000.

The applicable capital threshold within this range is determined following completion of enhanced due diligence, taking into consideration:

  • Jurisdiction of incorporation;
  • Ownership and control structure;
  • Nature and scale of the investment activity;
  • Anticipated transaction volume and funding structure.

The required capital must be deposited and cleared prior to activation of full transactional functionality.
